1. Overview
KidTute (“App”) is an educational learning app for children published by WebExert (“we”, “us”, or “our”) on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
You can use the App without creating an account with us. We do not operate a WebExert login or cloud save service for KidTute. Learning progress, a display name, and sound preferences are stored on your device. The App does not show advertisements and does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
By installing or using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use the App and your device settings, the following categories of information may be processed:
- Profile and preference data (on device). A child display name entered during onboarding, and settings such as music mute and sounds / voice mute.
- Learning and gameplay progress (on device). Lesson progress, play-area scores, best results, and similar session or progress values needed for the App to work.
- Device features used locally. Text-to-speech and audio playback provided by the device operating system for letter sounds, numbers, and in-app feedback. This processing stays on the device and is not uploaded by WebExert for advertising.
We do not ask you to submit an email address, phone number, password, or payment card details through the App itself. We do not collect advertising identifiers for tracking children across apps or websites.
3. On-device storage
The App stores information locally using standard mobile storage mechanisms. This may include:
- Display name and onboarding completion state
- Music and sounds mute preferences
- Learning world progress and play-area best scores
- Other preferences needed to resume the experience on the same device
Uninstalling the App or clearing App data typically removes this local information. We cannot restore local progress after it has been deleted from your device.
4. How we use information
Information is used to:
- Operate core learning features and preserve progress on the device
- Personalize the experience (for example, showing the child’s display name)
- Respect audio preferences for music and sounds
- Maintain App stability and comply with applicable law and store policies
5. Third-party services
KidTute is designed to minimize third-party data processing. We do not integrate advertising networks or analytics SDKs that track children for advertising purposes.
Apple App Store / Google Play
Distribution, updates, and any store billing are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. See the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
Device platform audio / text-to-speech
The App may use operating-system text-to-speech and audio APIs so children can hear letter names, sounds, and numbers. Those features are provided by the device platform and are subject to Apple’s or Google’s platform terms.
6. Advertising
KidTute does not display ads and does not use third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal information. If this changes in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy and take steps required by applicable law and store policies.
7. Children’s privacy
KidTute is directed to children and is intended for educational play with parent or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age defined by applicable local law) through a WebExert account, because we do not provide such an account.
The display name field is for in-app personalization only. Please do not enter surnames, email addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive identifiers.
Parents and guardians should review device-level parental controls. If you believe a child has provided information that should not have been provided, contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate steps, including guidance on clearing local App data.
8. Your rights & choices
- Local progress: Delete App data or uninstall the App to remove on-device storage.
- In-app settings: Change the display name where available, and control music vs sounds / voice mute.
- Privacy rights: Depending on your location (for example the EEA, UK, or certain U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing. Because we do not maintain a central WebExert player account for KidTute, most data lives only on the device and is removed when App data is cleared.
9. Security & retention
We rely on industry-standard platform protections provided by the mobile operating system. No method of electronic storage is completely secure.
On-device data remains until you remove it. We do not operate a cloud account deletion flow for KidTute because we do not require cloud accounts for core play.
10. International users
App Store and Google Play platforms may process information in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, under their own policies. By using the App, you understand that such platform processing may occur as described in this Policy and in the partners’ policies.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Effective date” above will be revised when changes are published. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy, except where additional notice or consent is required by law.
